British Singer Charges for Content: British teen singer Samantha Mumba has launched a subscription VIP area on her re-launched website. The singer’s exclusive content, including video streams, can be bought via mobile phone, debit and credit cards, PayPal and Nochex. It will cost about £1 for access to content for a limited time.

“Carol Isaac, new-media manager at Polydor, said: ‘We’re looking at new ways of generating revenue from the content; we’ll initially offer exclusive video interviews using reverse-billing SMS.’”
