New York Times Digital’s Q2 revenues grew 26.7 percent in Q2 to $27.4 million from $21.6 million in year-ago quarter, and operating profit more than doubled to $8.9 million from $4.3 million, primarily because of higher ad revenues resulting from increased volume.
Meanwhile for June, ad revenues for NYTD rose 36.3%, reflecting growth in display advertising and in all classified ad categories at NYTimes.com and Boston.com.
