AOL Music hopes to reprise its success with the Dave Matthews Band concert in Central Park. This time the venue is the Roseland Ballroon in NYC and the occasion is Tuesday’s release of the band’s new album. AOL Music LIVE! will be simultaneously webcast live at 9 p.m. eastern tonight (May 9) and on the AOL Radio Network. The concert will be available on demand for 10 days, and, if past practice is an indication, clips from the show will be offered later as music videos on AOL Music.
The LIVE! series has a good shelf life, according to AOL, with individual performances from the various events shopwing up on the weekly AOL Music Top 11 for months after the live shows.
