Tencent, one of the big Chinese IM and gaming operators and part of the Naspers Group (more on the company here), has acquired 19.9% of SZ Domain, an online multi-players games company in China. Under their agreement, Tencent is entitled to purchase a larger stake in SZ Domain in the coming years.
The deal will cost between $5 million to $10 million, according to CSFB.
