Private Equity Week reports that Karodpati Inc., a Cayman Islands-based developer of online entertainment for the Indian market, has raised just over $2 million in Series A funding from venture funds Draper fisher Jurvetson and DFJ ePlanet Ventures.
The service – a combination of e-commerce and entertainment targeted at Indian market – will be launched end of the year.
