Meredith Stark has been appointed VP and executive producer of CNBC.com, effective immediately. Stark joins CNBC from Gartner, Inc., where she was group VP-product platforms most recently and GVP/EP-web production in a previous stint. (Her revival of Gartners’ blogs won a Webby this year.) In between, she was a consultant for the launch of ESPN’s Mobile & Wireless site. The bulk of her experience comes from 20-plus years at CBS, Inc., where she was executive director of CBS New Media (back when new media really was new) responsible for the launches of CBSNews.com and CBS.com.
