GSM Figures:
New Subscribers: 4.7 mil
Total Subscribers: 95,516,468
Growth in Metro Circles: 2.9% (Kolkata up 2.9% and Delhi up 2.8%)
Growth in Category A Circles: 5.4% (Andhra Pradesh up 6.9% and Maharashtra up 6.2%)
Growth in Category B Circles: 6.3% (Madhya Pradesh subscriber base grew up 9.2%, Haryana up 8.8%)
Growth in Category C Circles: 6.2% (North East circle subscriber base grew up 9.4%, Jammu & Kashmir up 8.7%)
More details here.
Trends: The percentage increase in subscriber base in Metro circles is declining (was at 3.5% in September), category A and C have consistent growth stable, while Category B has seen a significant jump, up from 5.6% last month to 6.3% in October. I expect the decline in growth in Metro circles to continue because of saturation of subscriber base.
