One trend that’s continuing into 2007: experiments in so-called citizen journalism. The Baltimore Bulldog, an interactive news site debuting this spring, will combine blogging and citizen journalism with professional reporting, Mediapost reports. The venture is the brainchild of Sean Carton, chief strategy officer for Charm City online consultancy idfive. Carton has also enlisted partners Fern Shen, a former reporter with the Washington Post and Baltimore Sun, and Marc Steiner, a host on Baltimore public radio station WYPR. In addition to all the usual text/audio/video features, the Bulldog will also post
