–Here’s some low-hanging fruit I’ve been waiting for someone to pick for years…popular strategy game Warlords is finally coming to mobile. Infinite Interactive has signed up Czech-based Impossible Games to create a series of mobile games based on the brands, and while Impossible isn’t saying whether it will take the strategy or puzzle approach there’s no real reason why they shouldn’t just do both.
Suicidal Squirrels, a made-for-mobile animated series by Mobile Streams, will be shown on MTV in Germany from January 8.
–Popular TV show Countdown is on mobile. Granada Ventures has licensed Dynamo Games to make the game…it’s a good fit for mobile since it consists of 30 second challenges anyway. It will be launched early this year and cost five pounds (US$9.69), which could be considered steep.
–”There she is, Miss America!“…now a $2.99 ringtone.
