After a year with an interim CEO and not a lot of emphasis on senior management, suddenly ClickStar seems to have a full exec suite. A week after CEO James Ackerman’s departure was leaked — he was labeled interim for roughly a year — here comes a batch of exec announcements from ClickStar CEO Lori McCreary:
Dan Graham has been promoted to COO from SVP-operations. He chairs the executive steering committee for the ClickStar service.
Stuart Halperin joins the company as CMO, responsible for marketing and sales as well as managing consumer products and content. He headed marketing for MovieTickets.com, co-founded Hollywood online (now Hollywood.com) and worked in marketing for studios.
Sam Edge joins as CTO, overseeing the content distribution network and technology strategy.
– Other promotions include Darren Cross to VP-acquisitions and business development, and Michael Bloom to VP-content and programming.
