Myxer (fka mVisible), a Deerfield beach, FL-based mobile content applications firm, has received $6.5 million in what it calls its Series A-1 funding…last year it raised a $3 million series A (first round) round. The new round was led by Harris Preston & Partners and included participation from Morgenthau Venture Partners and existing investor New World Angels.
The company launched its new product “Mobilized by Myxer” at Demo conference today, which enables content owners to create and deliver mobile content in a simple way from their websites, the company says. The company also has its consumer site MyxerTones. More info in release.
