Another big player is eying the mobile value added services space in India: Korean Telecom co SK C&C (SKCC) is reportedly in talks with Reliance Communications for providing VAS for 3G, as well as IPTV, reports the Economic Times. SK C&C President SK Yoon has said that the company is interested in leveraging it’s experience on the CDMA platform, and is eying acquisitions in India, as well as partnerships and joint ventures. More in ET. This, when the spectrum issue has still not been sorted out, and date for the auction of 3G spectrum not yet announced. Maybe there’s a resolution around the corner – however unlikely. A question: who benefits most from a delay in allocation of 3G spectrum?
