–Friendster Goes Mobile: Social network Friendster is now available on mobile through a newly launched Friendstertogo.com mobile widget. The widget was created by brand agency guideCast and gives Friendster members access to many of their regular Friendster features, including keeping their status updated, seeing the status of their friends, viewing the profiles of their friends, and sending and receiving mobile messages and photos. More features will be rolled up in the upcoming weeks (via release).
–Verizon (NYSE: VZ) Launches Smashing Ideas’ Flash Lite Games Catalog: Smashing Games, a catalog of Flash Lite games created by Smashing Ideas, is now available through Verizon’s Get It Now content download service. Games on offer include some new titles from Cartoon Network Mobile based on its shows and characters. (Release)
– Orb To Launch Streaming Media Service for iPhone: Orb, whose service allows users to stream music, videos, photos and other media from their home Windows. PC to mobile devices and other computers, will launch a new service that works with the iPhone in the next few days, according to The Register.
– Mobile Version Of Popular FPS Prey Goes Live on Mobile: Mobile content publisher SkyZone says 2-D and 3-D versions of the game Prey, a first-person shooter that sold more than a million copies on the Windows and Xbox 360 platforms, are now available on most US operators.
– Go2′s Local Search and Directory Services Now On Verizon’s Deck: Local search and info provider Go2 says its content is now available on Verizon’s Mobile Web deck. (Release)
