- O2: O2 UK has hired Matt Ward as its new head of music. Ward replaces former head of music Matt Cockett, who quit after five years in the post at the start of November. Ward joins from mobile video technology firm Mobix, where he was head of the consumer proposition team and was responsible for the creation, development and management of consumer-focused mobile live services. Before joining Mobix, Ward had been business and digital manager at indie label Kickin Music and had consulted on music licensing for the royalty collection society MCPS-PRS (via Mobile Europe).
