Rounding out our trifecta of Chinese internet names this evening, MMO developer Netease (NSDQ: NTES) announced Q4 revenue of $85.3 million, up 15.1 from $74.1 million in the year-ago period. Net income grew 21 percent to $53.4 million, from $43.9 million. The company’s core gaming revenue grew 12 percent to $69.5 million, while ad revenue jumped 35 percent to $13.4 million. Its wireless business was flat at $2.3 million. NetEase attributed its ad revenue to growth at its email and blog services. It also plans to put a greater emphasis on item-based revenues and licensing going forward.
