Nielsen Business Media, which just did a reorg of its entertainment properties under a new division and appointed a new head, has now announced some more executives as part of that division. The new team includes: Howard Appelbaum, who was named VP/Publisher of Billboard; Eric Mika, who was promoted to VP/Publisher of The Hollywood Reporter; and Andrew Bilbao, who was tapped as VP/COO, Entertainment Group. The executives report to Gerry Byrne, new SVP of the Entertainment Group, who replaced John Kilcullen. These are all internal promotions.
The new group includes Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, Back Stage, Kirkus Reviews, The Bookseller, Film Journal International, and the film industry expositions ShoWest, ShowEast, Cinema Expo International and CineAsia Exposition.
