The question is whether Apple will look to SVG as an alternative for Flash. SVG is lightweight, open standard, and is already supported by Firefox, Opera, and Safari.

I've speculated about this <a href="my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=223860">on my blog</a>. I guess will have to wait and see what happens.

Are you saying that those Nokia phones do not currently run flash. or Are you saying that Nokia will stop offering flash on these phones? I tend to doubt that either silverlight or the Apple sdk, (core animation notwithstanding, whatever core animation is. Maybe it's javascript.) can do what flash lite 3 can. I like your reporting, but if you are playing favorites to get on Apple's good side, it's difficult to think of your site as a source of 'news'.
