I've got mine and I love it. Instant gratification for less buckage and the portability and storage advantages can't be overlooked either. Once the price drops a bit, I'll buy them for my kids. No, I don't work for Amazon…..

I see them here and there, usually when traveling — saw one this weekend, in fact, on a train. Amazon has kept it pretty quiet, so we don't really know what the numbers have been (guesses have been all over the map, it seems), but a Kindle in the wild is still a pretty rare bird.

Staci here … I do see Kindles being used with increasing frequency. That may be because I spend a lot of time traveling. for what it's worth, I also get a lot of interest whenever I pull mine out no matter the location. This is all purely anecdotal, of course.
