YouSendIt, a service that lets people share large files online, has raised a fittingly large $14 million third round led by Emergence Capital, along with past backers Sigma Partners, Alloy Ventures, Sevin Rosen Funds and Cambrian Ventures. The company has raised $20 million over its previous round, for a total of $34 million. The Campbell, CA-based firm claims it handles 10 million files per month, and that its customer base is growing by 200,000 users per month (though it doesn’t offer a baseline for that number). The most well-known competitor is DropSend. Release.
