Fans of Photo Hunt rejoice. ESPN (NYSE: DIS) Cameraman, a new application just launched on the App Store, will seem familiar to regular users of the photo-comparison game that sits like a small TV on so many bars. Bringing a strong sports element and higher-quality photography into the mix, the free application is another example of a large entertainment company trying something different and unique for the iPhone. A wide range of sports are represented in the free game, which asks players to touch the screen on sections where side-by-side photos have minor differences. For example, a small patch might appear on an athlete in one of the shots and be missing in the other.

ESPN might be on to something fun here and it

  1. The espn game is good for a free app. There are other photo hunt games available on the iphone that cost 1.99 for a few more features. More notably there's one called Halloween Photo Hunt. The images are clip art (and Halloween themed) instead and has additional distractions which make the game alittle more interesting.
