The Oregonian Goes Mobile: The Oregonian newspaper will launch a mobile storefront selling historic papers as mobile wallpapers for $1.99. The storefront is run by Skycore (which runs Cellyspace, and initially includes “historical events from the Portland Trail Blazers’ 1977 NBA title to Oregon State University’s upset of No. 1-ranked USC during the 2008 football season, from the end of World War II to the inauguration of Barack Obama”.

Buongiorno (BIT: BNG) launches social net aggregator: Mobile content company Buongiorno has rolled out HelloTxt, a status update aggregator for the social media market. It allows users to send and read status updates across all the main microblogs and social networks simultaneously. HelloTxt aggregates over 45 social networks and microblogs including Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Bebo, and its own peoplesound, while users on average aggregate four. The aggregator has amassed 30,000 registered users since its beta launch ten months ago.
