Nice to see MS putting the breaks on share buyback at this time. Microsoft is in the early days of a fundamental change in its business as the company grows it's cloud offerings to complement it's software business. The industry is changing and this cash will help them continue out-investing their rivals to succeed in the transformation.

There was a time when Ford had more cash than Microsoft and huge profits (10 years ago) - they gave most of it back to shareholders instead of investing enough in the next generation of products and they are still trying to recover from that.

Would hate to see Microsoft fall into that trap.
