imageGeodesic Ltd, the Mumbai-based developer of ICE solutions for computers and mobile phones, said net profit for the year ending 31 March rose 90% year-on-year to Rs282.84 crore, on the strength of revenues from new clients and territories. For the quarter ended 31 March, the company posted a net profit of Rs66.27 crore, up 32% from the year-ago period. Net Sales during the fiscal under review more than doubled to Rs642.93 crore.

During the quarter under review, the company added 200,000 users for its Mundu-branded instant messaging and communications products. The firm ventured into new territories such as Slovakia and Africa. “Geodesic has added diverse customers during the fourth quarter in the space of Banking and Financial services, System Integrators, Portals & Publishers and Telecom Carriers…,” the company said in a release.
