Palm, Apple, Nokia, Others Launching Back-To-Back Iconic Phones This Summer
The summer of 1967 will always be known as the “Summer of Love,” but perhaps 2009 will go down as the summer of smartphones. It’s typical protocol for handset makers to release phones before school starts up and the holidays kick into gear, but this year the market is buzzing about a slew of new iconic devices that are destined to make things abnormally exciting.
Here’s a round-up of all the latest handset rumors and speculation icoming from companies, like Palm (NSDQ: PALM), Apple (NSDQ: AAPL), Nokia (NYSE: NOK), Samsung, Google (NSDQ: GOOG), Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT) and others:
– Palm Pre: The Palm Pre
That Apple will release a phone then is a pretty easy guess. They did that last year and the 3.0 developer previews have a reference to a so far non existent iPhone product in them.
The Pre is what everyone I know is excited about though. Provide it's as good as it looks I'll probably get an unlocked GSM one as my travel phone. Once they have an unlocked GSM phone that is. The AT&T travel package pricing is a completely and total joke.
i have notice now all company start mobile with touch screen with Icon.
