Wow, thanks John. Nice to know you care about the consumer other than your fat wallet.
@Frank
Even if he wasn't the CFO, if he works for Verizon, his interests should be aligned with the shareholders of Verizon. Shareholders interests are primarily concerned with "volumes, cash flow, profitability."
@JustDon & Mo
True, but what could affect the bottom-line more than millions and millions of customers being thrilled that your bone-head company finally has gotten them what they wanted… sure, it may be a year or so late, in true Verizon fashion, but think of all the current Verizon customers who would pony up to buy the iphone even before the end of their current contracts.
The facts are… Verizon, unfortunately, has always been about the money and NOT about their customers.
@mo&justdon;
Sure he is the "CFO" but to be arrogantly stepping on customers publicly is a slap on the face, sure his interests should be aligned with the shareholders of Verizon. But he does not have to be so open about it and bring up money and cash flow and "us" as in "verizon and screw the rest of you", so that in my book makes him a very bad CFO.

Screw Verizon.
@Frank:
You know that's his job, right? That's why the call him the Chief *Financial* Officer.

Hey @mo&Justdon;:
Now that you are on AT&T's network, I have only one question, can you hear me now? LOL
@Tim
