– Another senior exec departure at FIM: Mike Angus, FIM’s EVP and general counsel, will be taking a new role within News Corp. (NYSE: NWS), according to Kara. Angus’ exit comes on the heels of a major restructuring at FIM, including the exit of CFO Ed McKenna.
– Philip Kaplan, the founder of FuckedCompany and online ad network AdBrite, has joined Charles River Ventures as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence. He is still involved with AdBrite, as its Chairman, but has been tinkering with some new projects, most of them Twitter apps. As an EIR he will be looking intersection of business, social networking, and finance, TC quotes him.
