Swedish mobile messaging company Mobispine has acquired UK-based Image Semantics, including its subsidiary Fun Text. Release.
Mobispine, which is listed on a Swedish stock exchange, has boosted its mobile-messaging efforts over the past year by acquiring three other companies in the space. The company also provides services in the photo and video albums and communities area. Mobispine issued 11,579,000 shares to buy the company. Based on the company’s trading price today that roughly translates to 3.36 million Swedish Krona (US $428,638). The acquisition is as pending regulatory and shareholder approvals, reports Mobile Entertainment.
