I usually am not subscribed to more than two shows at a time. I don't have cable because it wouldn't be cost effective considering how little TV I watch, but with the shows I DO watch, it's important to be able to see them ASAP. It's also preferable to be able to download rather than stream, because streaming can get interrupted or bog down whereas with a download you know you've got the whole file there to watch. Plus it's nice to be able to throw an episode of something on the iPod and watch it somewhere else.

Curious, how many shows do you subscribe to that way? By the way, I think if PR ever went on iTunes (not likely any time soon) it would be on same delay as VOD.

Well, a "season pass" on iTunes for a show of this length costs about $24 (or $1.99 per episode), which seems reasonable to me. People have been clamoring for Project Runway to be posted on iTunes for a long time. As for paying to remove the ads-- I don't think I would, unless it's very cheap like a dime or so. If I already have to wait two days and watch a streaming video, then ads are comparatively not that a big deal.

@ Fresca How much would you pay? And would you still pay if the delay is the same amount of time -- just without ads?

I'd rather pay for episodes to download than have to wait two days for a streaming episode which is full of ads, thanks. Sure, it's great that Lifetime is providing all of these extras, but I'm not going to watch any of them. I just want to see the show as soon as possible after it broadcasts.
