The book lending restrictions make the feature basically useless. It's really too bad.

It is worse then the Zune sharing feature and that was an utter failure. They think this even more crippled solution won't be why?

Being able to share my books with a friend when I'm done is the main reason I still buy real books most of the time. I otherwise love my Kindle.

Why do media companies not learn from their fellows in the music world? Too many restrictions and this stuff is never going to take off.

Damn, I have been so BORED to death of the digital book drama since the get go and once something actually catches my eye like the nook and I look closer ... its just DRM'ed DOA tech that is once again something halfway and not polished OR desirable.

Is it me or does it seem like everyone is just trying to sell me one MORE damn device I dont need or want and not THE device that does it all and we know they can already make ?

Why make such a big deal out of the fact that the Nook uses Android when you won't let it run other apps like a browser?
