The magazine used to be terrific about five years ago and then abruptly went down the tubes. I think it's interesting they're listing percentage of ad page drops, because I glanced at a recent issue and they hardly had any ads. I'm guessing that they've seen a huge decline in ads over the last several years, so while it may not have been that bad this year, overall it's probably worse there than at its rivals. Don't see any other explanation. And from another piece I read on this, its newstand sales have gone down the tubes, too.

It'll be interesting to see if they can drum up any investors. I, personally, would put my bet on a different horse.
