On the heels of their successful grand opening, the Louisiana Film Museum is excited to announce that a new marketing partnership agreement has been reached with Montrel’s Bistro as the new permanent home of the Louisiana Film Museum collection, effective immediately.
Montrel’s Bistro, located in the historic red brick building at 1000 North Peters Street in New Orleans, sits at the gateway to the historic French Market, America’s oldest city market.
The Montrel’s Bistro location offer tourists and locals alike the chance to see the entire Louisiana Film Museum collection and a free Louisiana movie while dining on authentic old New Orleans cuisine such as fresh seafood au gratin, grilled Chicken St. Charles, spicy filé gumbo, crawfish etoufee, red beans & rice with smoked sausage and Fettuccini Montrel, the chef’s special. Don’t forget to try the fresh Seafood Platter and their wide assortment of Po-Boys. The entrees cost between $19.95 – 23.95, and the nightly movies are free! The Louisiana Film Museum space is available for private parties, and French Quarter movie tours are available for groups of 15 adults or more with Dr. Alan Leonhard, author of New Orleans Goes to the Movies: Film Sites in the French Quarter and Beyond (Margaret Media, Inc. 2008).
