Madison is an ad serving platform that is being rolled out on CBS&#039;s properties, in place of Google/DoubleClick&#039;s DART.  Using Madison has nothing to do with Ad Networks.  

As far as cutting ties to outside ad networks; they are still working with three, which is plenty to try to manage.  Plus, CNET, which took over CBS Interactive after the acquisition, never used many outside ad networks, so this is just another CNET policy being extended to the CBS sites.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Sounds like a bold announcement - but now it will be interesting to see whether their own salesforce can actually pull in all the deals the ad networks are currently getting and ultimately see whether the CBS Digital Network performs better than a mix of ad networks - otherwise the $ will stay with the ad networks and move to other &quot;premium&quot; networks.]]></description>
