Scott Rewick has resigned his post as CEO of AdEx Media, the OTC-traded lead gen and online marketing company. He was in the role for less than two years. In a statement, the Mountain View, CA-based company said that Rewick stepped down last week to “pursue other interests.” The company has begun a selection process to find his permanent replacement. This past summer, AdEx closed a $2.3 million private placement, which the company raised by issuing 1.9 million shares of series A preferred stock and warrants to unspecified institutional investors. No word on who will be leading the company on an interim basis, or what sort of interests Rewick is pursuing.
Rewick joined AdEx in April ’08, after spending a little more than two years as president and CEO of LSF Publishing, another lead gen outfit. He’d held two other executive posts before that. Rewick was president of Next Internet starting in 2005 and leaving in 2007; before that, he founded Connexus, a performance-drive ad net.
