Fashion Info Service Stylesight Adds $5 Million In Funding
Stylesight, the fashion content aggregation, search and trend-spotting service, has raised $5 million worth of a $10 million second round of funding, per an SEC filing. The company raised $16 million in its first round from Fidelity Ventures in 2008. Stylesight did not immediately respond to a request for info on the source of the new money.
Founded in 2003 by former Polo exec Frank Bober, Stylesight offers a variety of subscription-based services for fashion industry professionals, including online image and art galleries, and a customizable repository that lets users save, sort through and package reports and other content. The company added former IPG CEO David Bell to its board of directors last year.
