		<description><![CDATA[McContent - whether from Demand Media, AC or Seed - is the flavor of the month.
In my view, it&#039;s a business model destined to fail, for the following reasons:
1. It&#039;s dreck. Unsourced hack work may get a single accidental click from an intelligent reader, but not a second. If you write stupid articles, you end up with a stupid audience. Advertisers don&#039;t pay a premium for an audience of morons.
2. It&#039;s not scalable. There is a limit to the number of hacks and wannabes who&#039;ll work for pennies, especially as the economy improves.
3. Google. The search engine is actively working to separate actual quality news from the cut-and-paste-and-writethrough McContent, which while original in the sense that the words haven&#039;t appeared in that order before, is devoid of original thought. ]]></description>
