The second company in two days has received money to help build tools to make managing smartphones in the enterprise easier. BoxTone has raised $7.5 million in a second round of funding from Lazard Technology Partners. Yesterday, MobileIron said it raised $16 million in a third round of funding.
BoxTone of Columbia, MD said it will use the money for product development and corporate expansion as demand grows for its products.
BoxTone said clients include one in three Fortune 100 companies, and one in four of the largest U.S. federal agencies and one in five of the top 100 law firms.
