@ C. Levy Thanks for the note. That’s not for the benefit of Twitter; some people like to see where a story is spreading and this is one way to do it. Luckily, we aren’t wasting any IT resources to show it — and if you don’t like Twitter, it’s far down the page enough for you to skip it.

Is this the benefit of Twitter? We get 10 people below all chirping about the same story which we are already reading on the same page. Why is PaidContent wasting their IT resources reposting chirps about this story on the same page as the story? Sorry but twitter is useless.
