Clayton Christensen is his mentor, and Gilbert has been a disruptive innovation “expert” for many years. He’s in a position now to put theories into action, and the guy is really, really smart. Keep an eye on Deseret. The fact that they’re not approaching this like anybody else — or even in ways that may seem like common sense — doesn’t surprise me.
