From our perspective, anything that encourages more people to watch TV is a good thing.

Google (NSDQ: GOOG) TV hopes to offer access to additional entertainment and choice via its-internet based search engine.

Many TV-centric internet services, including Google TV and Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) TV, are endeavouring to offer people a way to access content via the internet than the usual satellite, cable or terrestrial paths.

I disagree - ten years ago we wanted a telephone on our mobile phone – now we want computers on our mobile phone….and music and a camera and facetime.  The screen in the living room or the bathroom or the car is whatever people want it to be. There is no such thing as phone or TV or computer any more – just data and access points and clever software engineers. 

    Personally I never watch TV – but I would like a large screen in the living room that I can use for more sedate computer activity. Pace could be the company that gets everyone and their gran to become computer literate…or continue thinking that TV is more than a button with a TV icon on a remote control. It can be a big button if you like.
