I wish I worked for Google. For all I know, they could be using a log scale on the Y-axis, which means… magnets, how do they work?

@Alpha: no y-axis? who even knows if it’s counting up or down?! i’m sure the same rigor applies to your analysis of the initial hitwise numbers, which undoubtedly are based on perfectly sound science when they’re fabricated…

@VS, where do you get that….Google provides their typical, crappy, unprofessional, counter marketing response (no Y-axis for crying out loud) and you suddenly think the original article is discredited??? Hardly.
