		<description><![CDATA[The future of archive material is, I feel,  in mashing it up, re-editing it, putting it to unusual music etc, creatively embedding advertising into it etc.. Re-editing famous movies, programmes etc...splicing them.

At the moment there&#039;s great archive material and people get to see it when they want. The new stuff being made has to compete with migration of audience and social media evolutions and wont get the eyeballs. 

Re-editing archive material is a way of taking what has cultural resonance and &quot;getting revenue out of it&quot;
