Women-oriented blog network Sugar Inc. has made another small acquisition. The company, which has been steadily diversifying its revenue beyond advertising, has now bought up MyPerfectSale, a startup that owns MyPerfectSale, which sends e-mail alerts to its members about the “latest sales for high-end designer apparel and accessories,” as well as DesignerApparel, which aggregates designer items for sale on various sites around the pweb.
Sugar says in a release that it’s adding MyPerfectSale to its ShopStyle network of shopping sites, which includes video shopping site Shopflick, which it acquired in June 2009, as well as ShopStyle, which it purchased three years ago. The company also bought up daily deals service FreshGuide this summer. Sugar is keeping the MyPerfectSale brand.
