		<description><![CDATA[Good comments from TVtimes. Embedded advertising is inevitable in VOD, and I&#039;m sure it will be profitable to one degree or another. Viewers who find it creepy will be alienated; other viewers won&#039;t be. 

But there are definitely alternatives for the viewers who feel alienated by new types of product placement and other new advertising tactics. And a lot of those viewers will be happy to pay $10 a month for services like Hulu Plus and FargoTube.com. 

As Joe Mullin points out in an excellent post on PaidContent.org today, online video allows for all sorts of interactivity that add value to video, which justifies subscriptions and other fees. ]]></description>
