– Netflix/Android: The online-video provider says that it will start to offer its streaming service on a select number of Android devices early next year. Netflix (NSDQ: NFLX) is already available on Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) devices as well as on the new Windows Phone 7 handsets, but it says that it has had to delay on Android because of a lack of common security and DRM platforms across all Android devices. – Acer/Ferrari: Leading into the final weekend of the Formula 1 racing season (which Ferrari did not win), the handset maker teamed up with the iconic sportscar maker to develop a branded smartphone. Based on Acer’s Liquid E design, the red handset is based on Android and comes pre-loaded with Ferrari content. This is the second Acer/Ferrari device to come out, after the Acer Ferrari One Netbook. – Amex games: American Express in the U.K. has teamed up with games developer Fishlabs to create a four brain teaser games for Apple devices. Cash IQ, as the collection is called, is free to download and users can play against each other using Facebook Connect.
