Where else are the super rich supposed to park their billions? They cherry pick the new golden child and the rest of us watch and whine about how the bubble will/already burst on our jobs/homes/retirement. Cry for us, poor us, the down trodden, the middle class. Maybe some day we can join the club, if we work hard enough, earn our stripes, follow the rules. It’s the land of opportunity and you can be Goldman Sachs, if you work hard enough!

With regard to social media more generally, I suspect that at some point people are going to realize that spending time with real friends is more valuable than wasting time with Facebook pseudo-friends.

The current wave of social networking will come to an end. Facebook is useful to form common interest groups, but to make friends?
