– TagMan: Angus Glover Wilson has been promoted to the new position of chief privacy officer. He’ll help advertisers adhere to new online marketing regulations if and when they’re implemented. He previously held the title of VP of operations since 2010. Prior to TagMan, he was GM of UK at iVillage.
– Engadget: Chris Ziegler is the third Engadget editor to leave the AOL-owned site. Ziegler posted his “goodbye” on his blog yesterday, emphasizing his exit has nothing to do with AOL (NYSE: AOL), which “has never interfered with [Engadget's] editorial.” Earlier this month, Editor-in-Chief Joshua Toplosky and Managing Editor Nilay Patel announced their departures.
– Resonate: Kathy Sharpe has been appointed VP of marketing. Most recently, she managed her own advertising agency, Sharpe Partners, for over a decade. Prior to that, she was DDB New York’s first director of interactive.
– Magnetic: Seven new execs have joined the Magnetic team, including Jonathan Penn, who is now VP of national sales. Most recently, Penn was director of sales, east coast at AT&T (NYSE: T) Advanced Ad Solutions. Additional staff has been added across a variety of departments including sales, marketing, engineering, delivery and operations.
–Digitas: Digitas has promoted longtime employee Dennis Reilly as business director, reporting to President Colin Kinsella. The company also announced its Digitas Business, a practice focusing on b2b marketing and communications.
