Actually, Microsoft and Windows are not loathed. What percent of the market share does Mac OSX have? I own 3 Macs and 4 Windows 7 machines. I love them all. We use the Macs for Photoshop and other software; however, the windows computers are the ones that run the daily duties for my comp. WP7 is amazing and I prefer it to my old iPhone. Apple manufactures great hardware; however, there software is still substandard (ie. Mail, Safari, iTunes). The UI of the new windows software is amazing and it performs how I need it to perform. IE9 is great and it really made the Mango update worth the wait. Oh, how is the iCloud performing these days? Still down? I have had cloud access since I bought my WP7. The iPhone 4s is trying to keep up with Mango.

Microsoft is trying hard with the
window7.5 phone to stand apart for good from the mobile space kings (ANDROID
and Apple) but, may be Microsoft will still have to wait for the features of
much awaited iOS 5 and Ice Cream sandwich to be disclosed. Apart from the IE9
browser, there are 2 features among the reported 500 features of Mango, those
are Quick Cards and Local Scout. Though both the features are identical, the
Local Scout will give the info about the events happening in the neighborhood
whereas, the Quick Cards displays all the info about a searched item in Bing.

Windows 7 is easily the most stable, light weight OS they’ve ever delivered. It makes sense that consumers have a pretty high opinion of them right now. Windows 7 is also the fastest selling version of Windows ever.

Microsoft doesn’t seem to realize that they are loathed. The Windows brand name has **NEGATIVE** brand equity. They’re in much deeper trouble than they realize.
