Meaning: will the publishing houses be willing to offer new authors’ eBooks at a much lower price (say $3.00 or less) in order to build a readership base for them, while eBooks of the Stephen Kings and Scott Turows go for $10 and up.

Or, another idea, bring new authors out in eBooks only– and wait to see if the demand builds for a modest trade paperback/hardcover run ?
