Hello Ingrid,

In Spain, that strong position is occupied by Nokia, more than by Symbian OS. People buy Nokia devices because they trust the brand. The fact that they come with Symbian and this way that OS leads the Spanish market is a "side effect".

I'm a happy user of a SGS with Android since a few months ago. When my father asked me to find a new mobile for him I was unable to convince him to change his Nokia. He wants a modern device, with all the new features, but Nokia. He doesn't know if it comes with Symbian or any other OS. He doesn't matter.

I'm thinking about recommending him a N800 or N900 (with Maemo or Meego). But I'm not sure if it will be too messy for him...
