It pushes people to higher levels of performance. But it seems like it often goes to far – at least where people and organizations let integrity take a back seat to results. We’ve seen it this year with the insider trading convictions and now with the news. The need to get “the scoop” pushed absurdly wrong behavior. Seems like nothing costs more or is more valuable than character. It’s feeling scarce in the markets, the news and politics.
